Free QPR Training for District 22 Members and Post Staff

American Legion District 22 is hosting a free QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training on April 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This nationally recognized, evidence-based program equips participants with practical skills to recognize warning signs of suicide, engage in direct and supportive conversations, encourage individuals to seek help, and connect them with appropriate resources. The training is open at no cost to District 22 members and Post staff and is designed to provide immediately usable tools that strengthen our ability to support fellow Legionnaires, families, and the broader community. Following the training, the Post will host a live music night sponsored by Dallastown SAL Post 605, with food and drink specials and small games of chance available.
